Surf's Up! Our Family's Summer Bucket List

It's here! It's here! Summer time! Every year, I grow more determined to soak up every moment in the sunshine and lazy days with my sweeties. I also want to hear from them, about what they looking forward to in this season where the days stretch a bit longer and freedom is felt a little more near. But here's the thing, I'm not going jam pack these days with so many activities that we don't have room to breathe. I want this season to be marked by exploration and wonder and maybe even a little boredom to inspire personal initiative. So, our bucket list is really simple, its pretty organic and it all happens in turns. But, there is nothing like entering June with dreams for what the months ahead will hold!  Here's what we plan to tackle together over the next few months, as well as some links to our favorite New York City sights that we are making sure to soak up before we fly west. I hope it inspires your own (simple) summer fun!

We'll peek into St. Patrick's, the Lego Store and Magnolia Bakery at Rockefeller Plaza, visit Eloise at the Plaza Hotel, tour the MET galleries and see the new rooftop display, venture into the American Museum of Natural History Discovery Room and Oceanic exhibit, eat a burger at Shake Shake and feed the ducks at Turtle Pond.
